UA men’s basketball rolls to victory over Oregon State

TUCSON – Arizona’s fast start this season changed expectations. Non-conference wins over San Diego State, Duke and Michigan pushed the final destination past the Pac-12 regular-season title and into the Final Four. Perhaps a national title.
Then adversity struck. Brandon Ashley’s season-ending foot injury suffered Feb. 1 in Berkeley, Calif., changed the narrative, and over the last eight days the No. 2 Wildcats have been on a self-discovery tour of sorts. Trying to figure out their rotation. Trying to come up with ways to make up for Ashley’s 12 points, six rebounds and defensive versatility.
